Good source of Protein, as it provides 6grams per 1/4 C.Needs to be rinse about 3 times, before cooking, to remove any bitter qualities of Quinoa.I make a salad by adding cumin, olive oil, black beans, diced tomatoes, cilantro, red pepper flakes, corn, and lime juice.Healthy and good!

Throw the bag in my rice cooker with fresh herbs, low sodium chicken stock - olive oil and a pinch of Hawaiian salt -- its done and I have dinner and lunches for the weekadd: chicken - feta cheese,also love the black bean and mango with this red quinoa
